EVENTS – 2019 – HANNOVER

The 4th edition of « Science Me! » took place on 17-19 June, 2019, in the Convention Center of the huge Messegelände Hannover domain, during the 9th edition of IdeenExpo (15-23 June), the traditional science fair organised every odd year and attracting ca. 390’000 visitors over ca. 100’000m².

The competition welcomed 11 teams from Europe (1×Belgium; 1×Czech Republic; 1×Estonia; 1×Finland; 2×Germany; 1×Hungary; 1×Netherlands; 1×Poland; 1×Portugal; 1×Swizterland) and attracted a total of ca. 2’000 visitors in the Convention Center.

During the event, the teams were offered a very exciting social event on the first day, a 90-minute tour of the Gravitational Wave Detector GEO600, located near Hannover and directly linked to the Nobel Prize 2017 in Physics!
