EVENTS – 2017 – HANNOVER

The 2nd edition of « Science Me! » took place on 11-13 June, 2017, in the Convention Center of the huge Messegelände Hannover domain, during the 7th edition of IdeenExpo (10-18 June), the traditional science fair organised every odd year and attracting ca. 350’000 visitors over ca. 100’000m².

The competition welcomed 12 teams from Europe (3×Switzerland; 2×Germany; 2×Estonia; 1×United Kingdom; 1×Czech Republic; 1×Finland; 1×Netherlands; 1×Belgium) and attracted ca. 1’500 visitors in the Convention Center. The success of « Science Me! 2017 » called the attention of the organisers of IdeenExpo, who may take over the event in 2019.

During the event, the teams were offered a private and very impressive guided tour of the VW production plant in Hannover, where the famous Bulli is assembled.
